I have no idea how my son continually kills the batteries in his controllers on his xbox, but they work great in mine and last forever. Got the kit to have an extra charging cable for mine and the battery went to the The Brat.

Bought this item from Amazon or someone through Amazon can't quite remember. Anyways item still works and I'm loving it. No batteries to mess with just plug and play. Amazon you rock.

As the title suggests, this item does exactly what it's exposed to do. I'd recommend getting a charging kit since the provided cable tends to stop working after a few months... if not sooner.

Simple play and charge kit, works as needed but sometimes reports incorrect battery status. I've noticed these cables have problems reporting the correct battery recharge level and will report at times the battery is fully charged when they clearly are drained and vice-versa. It seems something is either wrong in the cable or the controllers - however I just plugged this cable into a new battery pack, new 360 slim controller and it reported the battery was still full even after I played with the controller for some 6 hours.

I'm extremely happy I found this product. It's much cheaper than the official Microsoft kit, and I'm not sure if it is or not, but if it isn't the actual Microsoft kit, I can't tell the difference! It's great. I highly recommend it.
