Great! July 31, 2010 Zombie Warrior I got the game and there wasn't a single scratch on it and it worked perfectly. I was very impressed.
As good as the first February 14, 2010 W. Buckner (Los Angeles, CA) There are over 200 other reviews talking about the game so I'm not going to go into it, I just feel that this game has been given unfair reviews based on what a masterpiece the first one was, while the truth is this is certainly a 5 star game. Maybe not *quite* as good as the first, but an amazing game all the same.
5 stars.
Strange repulsion... January 27, 2010 A. T. Shah (Sunshine State) Although KOTOR 1 was one of my favorite all time games (and still is), as soon as I heard the news that Bioware was not going to be the ones developing KOTOR 2 I develped a strange repulsion that kept me from the game. In fact, I was so disgusted that Bioware was not going to be making KOTOR 2 that I managed to ignore the game for 5 years since its release.
I finally gave in and got the game about 3 weeks ago and finished the game playing light side and am eager to see on my next playthough how the story pans out when you play dark side. Please! Do not make the same mistake I made and blow off the game just becaue bioware didn't make it. The game is very good regardless of who made it. Don't deprive yourself of this wonderful Star Wars adventure.
I'd say this game is an improvement over just about every aspect of KOTOR 1 besides story. Anyone who played the original KOTOR knows how awsome the story is for KOTOR 1 and how it would be very hard to contend with, but don't let this be an excuse to avoid it as KOTOR 2's story is still very much enjoyable.
Bottom line: Despite not having been developed by Bioware as KOTOR 1, Obsidian has crafted their own masterpiece.
More choices December 31, 2009 Joshua Kinzie (Iraq) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is very good it offers more in the way of lightsaber customization, more feats that make gameplay better twards the end of the game you feel as though you are unstoppable. Although I doubt the game is actually worth $170
Fantastically fun November 11, 2009 Christian Aldridge (Norfolk, VA) This is one of my favorite games. I recently repurchased the game just to play it again. It has been a few years since I last played and although I remember parts of the game it's like a new experience. The graphics are a bit dated but that is to be expected with the major advances in gaming and this is not a complaint.
